combined our over 50 years of manufacturing expertise with composting know-how, biological insights, and expertise in electronics and IT. Our products contribute to the advancement of
poultry and livestock industries in over 40 countries around the world.

In July 2023, I proudly assumed the esteemed position of President and CEO at Kohshin Engineering marking the beginning of the
company's 4th generation of leadership.

The first generation, as the visionary founder, laid the solid foundation upon which Kohshin Engineering stands today. The second generation
earned the trust and respect of our valued customers and partners. And the third generation expanded our horizons by venturing into overseas markets. The current state of Kohshin Engineering is a testament to our
dedication to refining our technologies and embracing challenges.

Looking ahead, we are determined to preserve and nurture our
challenging corporate culture, which has been the driving force behind our success. We are not content with resting on our laurels; instead, we are eager to embark on new ventures that will propel us even further.

History

  • 1970 Founded by Eiichi Sumiya as an agricultural machinery
    manufacturing company

  • 1972 Established Kohshin Engineering Co., Ltd. and became a corporation

  • 1973 Entered the livestock equipment market with the development of the
    livestock manure processing technology

  • 1974 Started manufacturing Japan's first automatic feeding devices and
    cages

  • 1980 Started manufacturing and selling manual cages (A-type cages)

  • 1995 Yuzo Sumiya became the 2nd President and CEO

  • 2000 Started exporting fermentation machines ( manure fermenters)
    overseas

  • 2012 Hiroki Sumiya became the 3rd President and CEO

  • 2015 Moved to the new factory and office

  • 2019 Established Kohshin Europe SRL

  • 2022 Expanded into the field of fertilizer manufacturing equipment with the development of fertilizer blenders

  • 2023 Kazunori Sumiya became the 4th President and CEO
    Expanded market to over 40 countries
